1. What was harder coming out as a gay man or as a performer in the porn industry?

I joined the Royal Navy from school and pretty quickly had to choose between a gay lifestyle or military service. In fact, the Navy fast-tracked the decision for me by kicking me out of the Service when I was only 23; I was suddenly faced with coming out to my parents at the same time, which was tough. I am extremely fortunate and both my parents supported me wholeheartedly… they always have, even when I became involved in the porn industry!

My adventure into porn came through a friend who Directed the first movie, Handpacked III JAMPACKED. The first day of the shoot was hard and I’m sure I was about as nervous then as I was came out to my parents. I think a lot of people have an impression of who ‘the whole’ Kent North is from the movies and are surprised when they meet with me.
